Wonder Beard is going to be slowing down to a crawl until the new year. I’m having a rough go of things as of late and keeping up mentally, financially and physically has been tough. As I go, this humble little label tends to go.

That being said, I hope and intend to re-launch with a slew of new tapes in January and February along with a new site. When this happens the whole back catalog will be put up on sale as I try to make room in my apartment and a few bucks to fund the next round of tapes I have planned.

Consider this hiatus a deep breath before another creative explosion. 

If you ordered tapes in the last few weeks, they are getting out slowly but surely.

Winter holds many exciting things in store for us all.

I’m going to be honest, I’ve fallen pretty far (about a month) behind on Wonder Beard responsibilities. It’s not the first time, but truthfully I hope it’s the last.

Being a one-man operation has its share of perks. I only have myself to answer to and creative control is never an issue. For a moderate control freak like myself this is great in theory. But, at the same time flying solo makes it very easy for me to lose focus and be a victim of circumstance. This has always been the pitfall for me and this little label.

That being said, I’m aiming to exceed expectations moving forward. And I hope i can continue to have your patience and support as Wonder Beard finally moves past the stage of growing pains. All I can say is thank you and that WB isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

So, the good news:

If you ordered a tape or multiple tapes and you are asking yourself “where the fuck are they,” I understand, and they will be in the mail by the weekend.

The even better news:

Tape orders for Oh Fortuna will be up as soon as i catch up with the old orders. And we have 2 other tapes in the works that I’m thrilled about. Winter has never been such a beautiful season.
